So, I’m going to start earning money…

Sponsored Add comments

I’m sorry that I have been neglecting this blog for a while. On the one hand, this is because I totally have no clue what to do with it, or what way it is meant to go. I’ve been worrying a lot about whether or not I want to start making profit from it or not. I reckon that I do: I’m not one of those people who really wants to make a full monthly income blogging, but it is my passion and if I can make money from it, then why would I not?

So, from now on, I will write Sponsored Posts once in a while, and getting paid for it. Of course I will only write about things that interest me and that I suspect, might interest my readers too. Getting paid for reviewing stuff is one of the latest internet phenomena, and one of the sites that operates in such way, is payperpost.

Signing up for PayPerPost was easy. Your blog also does not require an awful lot to get approvied: you don’t need to have an oblivious number of daily visits and you are not required to have the highest rank in every search engine you come across. Anyone who has a blog and updates regularly, can get accepted. But, keep in mind, the blog has to be atleast three months old and it has to be active. Those requirements aren’t really hard to meet, are they?

Shortly after my blog was accepted, opportunities came flooding in. Some other Sponsored Posts websites I joined gave only a small amount of opportunities, as in two or three, and that number never increased. On payperpost I had about three fit opportunities at first, but now, only three days later, the number has gone up to nine. I’m really glad that I have a rather wide range to decide about what I want to accept and what I don’t feel like writing about now.

The dashboard is also fairly easy to deal with. In case you want to view the opportunities you can accept, all you have to do is click on “Open Oppertunities”. Quite easy, eh? Then, you click the title of the post and you can view all the requirements it ought to have. Next, click “reserve this post”, answer some data, and you’re in. The amounts of money they pay for Sponsored Posts are really good also and range from $5 to $20. They pay using PayPal, and since I still believe this to be the best paying system, I’m very relieved. Cheques don’t interest me, since they are rarely used in Belgium, where I live.

So, all in all, I’m very pleased with payperpost. They offer a wide range of stuff one can write about, hence enabling people to pick what they’d like to write about most. Now, all I have to do is wait and see if payment comes quickly or rather late. I’ll let you know soon enough. Hehe.
